The New York State Police have arrested Noah Robert Hoefler, age 24, of Rochester, NY, following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving young children at a daycare.

On February 3, 2026, at approximately 3:48 p.m., Hoefler voluntarily surrendered at the State Police Rochester barracks accompanied by his attorney. He was taken into custody without incident.

Hoefler was charged with:

Sexual Abuse in the 1st degree (D felony)Two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child (A misdemeanor)

The arrest followed a comprehensive investigation that began after a law enforcement referral was received in November 2024. The investigation included forensic interviews and coordination with the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office. Multiple victims disclosed incidents of abuse occurring while under Hoefler’s supervision outside of a childcare setting.

After consultation between the District Attorney’s Office and defense counsel, arrangements were made for Hoefler to turn himself in. He was transported to Greece Town Court for arraignment.
