Any game of Arc Raiders is absolute chaos. Not only are there murderous robots out to get you, but you can’t even trust other players to leave you alone. Even if you do make it back to the extraction zone with your loot, there’s a chance that there’s a rat waiting to ambush you. And, all of this is considering you don’t get yourself killed.
Even taking down a Queen, which requires the utmost teamwork, isn’t very structured. You’ll have some players tossing grenades from a distance, while others will run between her legs. A few might even stay put and let you do all the hard work, only coming out for the rewards. However, it seems one Arc Raiders lobby has mastered the art of war against Queens.
Raiders! What Is Your Profession?
As showcased by AymaneByr on Reddit, one Arc Raiders lobby decided to put all differences and egos aside in order to take down a Queen. Their leader, a raider wielding an Equalizer and bucket loads of charisma, had every player lined up in perfect formation. He ordered them to advance to a forward position, which they all did in unison.
Instead of blindly attacking, he ordered every raider to equip their Wolfpacks, aim and wait for his order. He ordered them to fire by yelling “to war” only when the Queen was within range, getting the most damage out of the Wolfpacks. It was a sight to witness, as hundreds of homing projectiles exploded against the titanic Arc.
After that, it was fire-at-will, but without breaking the line. The leader kept morale high and kept the formation tight, telling the raiders to push forward while the Queen was still stunned. A second volley of Wolfpacks severely damaged the Queen, who was now flailing desperately against this well-drilled company of raiders.
Eventually, the Queen went down without much of a fight, thanks to the coordinated efforts of the raiders, who well and truly earned their rewards. It really looked like the opening battle from Gladiator.
