NEW YORK (PIX11) — Some schools will be closed Monday due to extreme snow and an ongoing blizzard warning.

The region is under a blizzard warning Sunday into Monday afternoon. Conditions will be extreme, with low visibility, possible power outages and difficult travel, according to the National Weather Service.
