SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The Manhattan Jaspers softball team (3-10), fell in its final day of competition at the Mustang Classic, this time against the Tigers from Pacific (4-10) by a final score of 10-3 at Bob Janssen Field on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Samantha Kelly repeated her magic from Saturday, as an RBI double to left center scored Brianna Estevez as the Jaspers struck first in the opening frame.
Two batters later, Sophia Kiseloski singled down the line to bring home Kelly and double the early lead.
After Pacific scored three in the bottom half of the first, a throwing error scored Ava Oeckel from second base to tie the game at three apiece.
With the Jaspers still within one through the fourth frame, the Tigers began to create separation in the fifth, scoring four more insurance runs.
A two-run double essentially iced the game for Pacific, putting double digit runs on the scoreboard.
