BLASDELL, N.Y. — Traffic along the New York State Thruway had to ‘moo-ve over’ after several cows wandered onto I-90 near Exit 56 in Blasdell.
In a social media post, The New York State Thruway Authority said the animals were loose near the roadway and authorities worked to safely corral them. Traffic was delayed as the cows zig-zagged between the roadway and the median.
Officials later said the cows had been corralled and all emergency units cleared the scene. Delays remained in the area, and motorists were advised to use caution.
