This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Greenpoint, Clinton Hill, Bay Ridge, and Kensington. How did they fare?
First up, in the Greenpoint Historic District, this extra-wide 1850s wood frame has a pared-back country style, recently updated kitchen, and landscaped rear yard with a pergola. This former House of the Day sold in October for $3,196,750, which was $201,750 over the asking price.
Configured as a three-family, this Clinton Hill Italianate row house retains four mantels, two of them marble, and sports a Permastone facade. This former Open House Pick, which asked $2.25 million before dropping to $1,999,000, entered contract in February.
In Bay Ridge, an early 20th century bungalow — a standalone single-family — has a brick and tile fireplace, sunroom, and garage. This former Open House Pick sold in January for $2,045,700, which was $142,300 under the asking price.
Finally, there is room for a new owner to make some style tweaks in this one-bedroom Kensington unit. It still has a lot going for it with a spacious layout, wood floors, and arched doorways. This former Co-op of the Day sold in January for $375,000, which was $10,000 under the asking price.
