Ontario, N.Y. — A state trooper and another driver were injured in a crash Tuesday in Wayne County.
An eastbound van failed to yield the right of way while turning left from State Route 104 onto Knickerbocker Road just after 12:30 p.m. and hit a New York State Police car, according to Trooper Lynnea Crane.
Both drivers were awake and talking, Crane said, with the trooper taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and the van driver taken to Rochester General Hospital for evaluation.
The crash remains under investigation. Crane said the area would be closed to traffic for “the next couple of hours.”
