Quiet Riot will energize the Great New York State Fair’s opening day with a live concert, kicking off a diverse lineup promising over 40 national acts
SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Great New York State Fair is adding another concert to the summer line up.
Heavy metal band Quiet Riot will perform at the Chevy Court Stage at the Great New York State Fair on Wednesday, August 26, at 6 p.m.

“Quiet Riot brought a party the last time they performed at The Fair,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave. “We’re excited to welcome them back on Opening Day to get the crowds energized and set the tone for an unforgettable 2026!”
Around two weeks ago, the fair announced Country star Trace Adkins will perform at Suburban Park Saturday, September 5, at 8 p.m.
The ‘Great New York State Fair‘ runs from August 26 through Labor Day, September 7. Â Concert tickets also include the price of admission to the fair, which will go on last later this summer. Tickets are $8 for adults and admission is free for children under 12 and senior citizens aged 65 and older.
The 2026 Chevrolet Music Series is expected to feature over 40 national recording acts. More acts will be announced over the coming months. Here’s what’s been announced so far.Â
