The body of a missing hiker from Florida was found in the Adirondacks on Tuesday, according to New York State Police.Troopers said they were notified that Theodore Troth, 51, of The Villages, FL, was reported missing several days after he rented a cabin at Rowe’s Adirondack Cabins in Schroon.Troth was last seen leaving the cabin on Feb. 19 to go hiking on the Crane Trail Pond. The cabin owner reported him missing on Feb. 24 after Troth failed to check out as scheduled.Members of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, New York State Forest Rangers, and New York State Police initiated a search and found Troth’s body near Oxshoe Pond on Tuesday evening.Officials said there were no signs of foul play.An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the date and time of Troth’s death.
