The latest winter storm has been hard on everyone. With a blizzard that managed to cover the East Coast, the winter weather has been difficult to navigate. For pet parents, the weather also comes with plenty of challenges and problems. For example, how do you keep pets active during a storm, and how do you take them out to potty when it’s snowing outside and they refuse to cooperate? All of these are reasonable concerns, but it’s not all gloomy news.
One magical bonus of snow is the ability to play around in the snow and being able to sled around. And places like New York City become exceptionally beautiful with the lights and buildings surrounded by winter snow.

Another beautiful sight to behold in the winter? A mini goldendoodle strutting around NYC with its snow jacket and boots on and plenty of energy to play.
George Takes a Snow Day in New York
For George, a mini goldendoodle living in New York City, the latest snow blizzard wasn’t all that bad. In an Instagram video uploaded by his human, George is seen romping through the streets of New York with a warm snow jacket and booties while having lots of fun. At one point, George can be seen hopping around the massive banks of the snow with so much energy that I’m sure he had the best nap of his life afterward.
In the comments, viewers couldn’t resist the extreme cuteness of George and his friends taking on the streets with so much excitement. One viewer shared, “I could watch a full 90-minute documentary of George in this snow,” a sentiment we would also like to co-sign. Another commenter added, “George fighting for his life one bunny hop at a time through that snow.”

At one point in the video, George can be seen playing around at the dog park with enough snow that I am certain is much taller than him. Besides seeing him hop around and eating the snow, George took a quick potty break on the ice.
While I don’t believe all of New York (or even the East Coast overall) enjoyed the snow as much as George did, at least we can enjoy knowing that he probably had the most fun snow-filled day with all of his friends and probably slept like a baby that night.
