LONG ISLAND, New York (WABC) — A Long Island grandfather is getting to keep his bathroom-themed license plate thanks to Gov. Kathy Hochul.

Seth Bykofsky’s plate reads, “PB4WEGO.” Get it?

The DMV sent Bykofsky a letter saying his plate violated their rules and would have to be replaced with a standard plate.

He pushed back, saying it’s something he’s told his kids often, and now his grandkids.

Bykofsky’s efforts made headlines and got Hochul’s attention.

“I loved it,” Hochul told Bykofsky over a phone call. “I’m going to get it back for you. I think everybody should be reminded to pee before you go.”

Hochul said she’ll be reminding her granddaughters of the lessons of Bykofsy’s license plate.
