Car lovers, mark your calendars. The New York International Auto Show kicks off April 3 and runs through April 12 at the Jacob Javits Center, bringing the latest vehicles, concept cars and automotive innovations to Manhattan. This year, getting there from New Jersey just got easier — and cheaper.
NY Waterway has teamed up with the Auto Show to offer a special Ferry/Auto Show Combo Ticket, giving attendees a streamlined commute and discounted admission in one package.

The combo deal includes round-trip ferry service between Port Imperial in Weehawken and the Midtown West 39th Street / 12th Avenue Ferry Terminal, plus reduced entry to the show. Once in Manhattan, riders can hop on a free NY Waterway shuttle that drops passengers directly at the Javits Center’s main entrance. The terminal is also just a short walk from the venue, making it one of the most convenient routes for Garden State visitors.
Discounted Combo Tickets are priced at $39.50 for adults and $19 for children ages 6 to 12. Kids 5 and under ride free with an adult Combo Ticket holder. Tickets can be purchased online and redeemed at the Port Imperial Ferry Terminal for round-trip ferry access and discounted Auto Show admission.
Beyond transportation savings, ferry riders also have a shot at winning even more. NY Waterway is hosting its “Cool Car” social media contest, giving participants a chance to win four Auto Show tickets. To enter, riders must post a photo of a “cool car” on Facebook or Instagram, tag @NYWaterway and use the hashtag #RideTheFerry2NYAS. Participants must also follow and like NY Waterway’s social channels. Two winners will be selected weekly over four weeks, starting the week of March 10 — offering eight total chances to win.
The New York International Auto Show remains one of the city’s premier spring attractions, drawing auto enthusiasts, families and industry insiders alike. From electric vehicles to luxury brands and interactive exhibits, the annual showcase continues to spotlight the future of driving.
