NEW YORK (PIX11) — Some snow is expected to coat New York and New Jersey early Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service and PIX11 News meteorologist.
Residents can expect a mild dusting of snow before 1 p.m. on Sunday with less than half an inch of accumulation.
Clouds are expected to clear in the afternoon, with temperatures near 38 degrees and wind-chill values between 25 and 30. Temperatures will then drop to 22 degrees at night.
While the snow may not stick around long on Sunday, residents will have to brace for another wintry mix on Tuesday with snow, freezing rain and sleet.
