NEW YORK (PIX11) — Multiple lane, road and bridge closures in New York City will start on Monday as part of ongoing and new maintenance by the Department of Transportation.

These changes may affect your morning and evening commutes in and around the five boroughs. Some may last most of March.

Changes to note

Starting Monday and continuing through March 27, the University Heights Bridge over the Harlem River will be fully closed, with two lanes in each direction from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.

On Monday, a single lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Broadway Bridge over the Harlem River, lasting through March 13. A double lane will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the same duration.

On the Hutchinson River Parkway Bridge, the right center lanes and left center lanes in both directions will be closed at different times from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday through March 27. There will be at least one lane for traffic in each direction at all times.

As of Monday, there will be single-lane closures on the Shore Road Bridge over the Hutchinson River.

Northbound: 7 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Northbound and southbound: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
