$1.5B marijuana licensing scheme suspect extradited to Oklahoma from New York

OKLAHOMA CITY, (KOKH) — Hao Chen, ring leader of the Hao Chen Organization, has been extradited to Oklahoma from New York.

Chen was booked into Oklahoma County Jail on Monday, March 2.

He is accused of running a $1.5 billion medical marijuana licensing scheme throughout several states, including Oklahoma.

In November of 2025, 19 individuals were arrested in accordance with an 18-count indictment from a multi-county grand jury.
