MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was behind bars in the Riley County Jail following his Thursday evening arrest in Manhattan in connection with fleeing and eluding from officers and other offenses, officials said.
The arrested man was identified as Jeremy Richmond, 33, of Topeka.
Riley County police officials said the incident was reported around 5:50 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Allen Road.

Officials said Richmond was arested a short time later, around 6:08 p.m. Thursday in the 2700 block of Buttonwood Drive.
He was booked into the Riley County Jail in connection with aggravated endangering of a child; fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer; contributing to child misconduct; reckless drivin;g and two counts of interference with a law enforcement officer,
Richmond was issued a total bond of $10,000 and remained in the Riley County Jail on Friday morning.
