CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (WRGB) — A truck driver named Joe Macken has been crafting a replica of New York City in his Clifton Park basement. The replica is made completely out of balsa wood.
The display had to be moved to a storage facility because his basement became too small to hold it all.
Fortunately, the model is now on display at the Museum of the City of New York in Manhattan, and it just opened back in February.

Macken says he’s going to keep up this work and hopes to one day craft the entire state of New York out of balsa wood.
