NEW YORK CITY, New York (WABC) — New York City police are searching for two suspects after a 37-year-old man discovered on fire in Penn Station may have been set ablaze.

The victim, believed to be homeless, was sleeping or lying in the old taxiway when two men and a woman approached just before 9 p.m.

One is believed to have set his clothing on fire.

The victim then went into the Amtrak rotunda area, where someone told him to roll around to extinguish the flames.

The fire was quickly put out but the victim suffered second degree burns to his arm and back. He was taken to the hospital.

A 47-year-old man is in custody. He is on parole until 2027 and appears to have around 100 arrests.
