STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Friday night’s CHSFL encounter between host Monsignor Farrell and St. Joseph by-the-Sea has been officially sold out.
Those wishing to attend the game, which kicks off at 6 p.m. in Oakwood, can only enter Farrell’s stadium via a digital ticket.
Tickets cannot be purchased via cash at the gate and will be turned away.
Just a reminder, fans will not be permitted to enter Farrell’s stadium with bags or outside beverages. Medical devices such as EpiPens and inhalers should be transparent in a clear, Ziploc bag.
Both the Vikings and Lions enter Friday’s contest on winning streaks. Sea, which is 4-3 overall (3-2 CHSFL AA-1), owns a two-game winning streak while Farrell (6-1 overall, 4-0 CHSFL AAA) has won four straight, including last week’s upset victory over NYS top-ranked Iona Prep.
The Vikings and Lions will meet for the 15th time in their history and the first time since the 2022 season.
Farrell owns an 11-3 record in the series. Sea is looking to defeat the Lions for the first time since the 2012 campaign.
