A 15-year-old high schooler is clinging to life after more than a dozen baby-faced muggers beat him up, stabbed him and stole his $340 sneakers in broad daylight Wednesday, cops and sources said.
The young victim was walking at 160th Street and Hillside Avenue in Jamaica around 2:15 p.m. Friday when 13 strangers – who appeared to be teens themselves – stormed up to him and surrounded him, cops said.Â
The violent crew started fighting with their target before kicking and punching him all over his body – and one of the ruffians stabbed him repeatedly, police said.Â

The savage group then ripped off the teen’s black and yellow sneakers, worth $340, before taking off, police said.Â
The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.Â
Sources confirmed the victim is a high-schooler, but it is not clear which school he attends. Hillcrest High School is located a short distance from the scene.

None of the attackers involved in the broad-daylight beatdown have yet been caught – and cops released their photos in hopes of tracking them down.Â
A video released by the NYPD also shows the crew running on the sidewalk – most with hoods pulled up over their heads, some masked and others carrying backpacks.Â
