MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A car sustained about $1,000 in damage after someone threw rocks at it in Manhattan, officials said.
The incident was reported around 2:52 p.m. Monday in the 300 block of Brookvalley Drive in northeast Manhattan.
Officers filed a report of criminal damage to property when it was reported that an unknown person had thrown rocks at a vehicle, damaging the windshield, another window and the driver’s door.
Riley County police on Tuesday were investigating an incident in which a vehicle sustained about $1,000 in damage after someone threw rocks at it in Manhattan, officials said.
A 75-year-old woman was listed as the victim in the case.
