Thriwe, Asia’s premier provider of tech-driven loyalty solutions, sponsored the Queens of Golf event, which took place on March 8, 2026, at Golden Greens Golf Course to commemorate International Women’s Day.
The event gathered together women golfers, as well as other golf lovers and athletes from numerous sports, to honour women’s advancement in golf. The ceremonies included a tribute to golf great Simi Mehra for her achievements and long engagement with the sport.
The Queens of Golf tournament served as a forum to celebrate female athletes and promote more involvement in the sport. Thriwe’s participation in the event increased its support for efforts that recognise women in sports and encourage their ongoing participation in the activity. Thriwe’s sponsorship of the tournament helped to fund a platform that acknowledges female golfers and encourages increased involvement in the sport.
Speaking on the occasion, Dhruv Verma, Founder and CEO, Thriwe, said, “Sport carries the power to inspire people across generations. Women golfers have shown commitment and discipline in building the sport’s community in India. Queens of Golf offered a meaningful platform to recognise their efforts. We were pleased to support the event on International Women’s Day. It was also a privilege to honour Simi Mehra, whose contribution to golf continues to inspire players across the country.”
Through such efforts, Thriwe continues to promote platforms that acknowledge women’s athletic achievements and encourage wider engagement in sports.
