The Baltimore Ravens will add a standout pass-rusher after all.

One day after backing out of a blockbuster trade with the Las Vegas Raiders for Maxx Crosby over a failed physical, the Ravens reportedly are signing Trey Hendrickson to a four-year deal.

The former Cincinnati Bengals defensive end can earn up to $120 million on his contract, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport first reported Wednesday. The deal includes $60 million fully guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus.

Hendrickson, 31, was First Team All Pro in 2024 but battled injuries and only played seven games last season. The nine-year veteran spent his first four seasons with the New Orleans Saints before joining Cincinnati, where he had three seasons with at least 14 sacks.

The Ravens desperately needed pass-rushing help after nixing the deal for Crosby, who is one of the league’s premier takedown artists. Hendrickson is a tier below, but he’s had several elite seasons recently while playing in the AFC North.

Last season, Baltimore was tied for 29th in the NFL with just 30 sacks and no player had more than five. Hendrickson had surpassed that number in five straight seasons before his injury-riddled 2025 campaign.

In addition to Hendrickson, the Ravens have a new defensive-minded head coach in Jesse Minter taking over for 2026. After going 8-9 and missing the playoffs for the first time since 2021, Baltimore is aiming for a quick turnaround.
