NEW YORK CITY — A man was found dead on a Midtown subway platform on Saturday, police said.
The incident happened at the 34th Street and 8th Avenue subway station just before 7 p.m.
A 55-year-old man was found unresponsive on the platform. He was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
What led up to the incident is not known at this time. The man’s identity has not been released yet.
An investigation remains ongoing.
