Police are investigating the death of a 55-year-old man found unresponsive at the Penn Station subway stop on Saturday evening.
According to the NYPD, shortly before 7 p.m., police responded to a 911 call for an unconscious man on the northbound platform of the 34th Street-Penn Station stop of the C and E trains.
The man was transported to Lenox Hill Hospital in critical condition. He was later declared dead. Police have not released the man’s identity pending family notification.
The NYPD said it hasn’t arrested anyone in connection with the death and the investigation remains ongoing. The NYPD declined to provide further details.
