The 68 teams competing in the women’s NCAA Tournament were announced Sunday, with the First Four kicking off Wednesday, March 18.
Fans got a sneak peak at the powerhouses in the bracket on Saturday when the selection committee unveiled the top 16 seeds in the tournament in alphabetical order for scheduling purposes. Those teams are: Duke, Iowa, LSU, Louisville, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, TCU, Texas, UCLA, UConn, Vanderbilt and West Virginia. These sites are set to host first-round and second-round games.
Earning No. 1 seeds in the four regions on Sunday were UConn, UCLA, Texas and South Carolina.
