Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry and his wife, Ayesha Curry, are without a doubt one of the most popular couples in the NBA today. Their fame comes with its fair share of caveats, including their demanding schedules.

Steph Curry is constantly on the road with the Warriors amid the NBA season. When he’s not traveling with the team, the former back-to-back MVP is busy with daily practice. Recently, Curry has also been working hard rehabbing a lingering knee injury as he looks to return to the court as soon as possible.

Ayesha Curry also has a lot going on. Apart from raising their four kids, the 36-year-old is also an entrepreneur, a best-selling author, a model and a philanthropist, to name a few. Her many roles also require her to be on the move regularly.

Steph Curry turned 38 on Saturday. He barely had time to celebrate his birthday with his family, though, with the Warriors in action on Sunday against the New York Knicks on the road. The 6-foot-2 guard remains out with an injury, but Curry has joined his team for their road trip.

Steph and Ayesha Curry got to spend some quality time together in New York to celebrate his special day. It was a brief encounter, though. According to Ayesha Curry, she only had “18 hrs with my baby in NYC to celebrate.”

In a succeeding Instagram story, the mother-of-three shared a frowning selfie along with a sad update.

“Back I go! Sad to leave my love but excited for the new project,” Ayesha Curry posted.

Ayesha Curry did not reveal the details of her “new project.” However, it appears that her prior commitment to the same is the reason why their brief NYC tryst was cut short.

Ayesha Curry felt bittersweet about having to part ways with her husband again, while also expressing excitement about her latest move.

Sunday’s game marks Golden State’s first road matchup in what will be an extended six-game road trip. Curry and the Warriors will head back home to the Bay Area after next Monday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks.
