QUEENS, NY — Three people were killed after a four-alarm fire in Queens on Monday, the FDNY said.
The fire broke out at 44-49 College Point Blvd. in Flushing around 12:30 p.m.
The blaze quickly spread the three floors of the building causing a collaspe, fire officials said.
In addition to the three people killed, two other people were taken to local hospitals in critical condition.
Five firefighters suffered minor injuries.
The blaze was brought under control around 2:50 p.m.
FDNY fire marshals will determine the cause of the fire.
