Call it Grand Theft Auto: Gowanus Edition.

A brazen group of thieves boosted five luxury cars from a Brooklyn parking garage in an early morning heist on Sunday, according to the NYPD.

Police said the bandits snuck into the garage, which is in a new apartment building on President Street a block away from the Gowanus Canal, around 5:15 a.m and made off with a Mercedes G550, a Range Rover, a BMW X5, an Audi SQ5, and an Audi Q5. The group ditched a lowly Hyundai on the street with its engine running.

Police said no one was harmed during the caper.

It was a scene reminiscent of the 2000 action film “Gone in 60 Seconds,” where Nicolas Cage plays the leader of a carjacking gang tasked with stealing 50 high end cars in a single night.

A police officer dispatched to the scene asked a Gothamist reporter early Sunday morning if he’d seen a group of kids on the block. By 5:50 a.m., there was no sign of anyone — or the five cars that disappeared from the garage.

An NYPD spokesperson on Monday said police were still investigating the case and had not made any arrests.

A parking space in the garage goes for $500 a month, and a studio apartment in the building rents for more than $3,000 a month. The parking garage is unstaffed overnight — but it’s filled with fancy rides, like a Lamborghini that was parked inside on Sunday.

The operators of the parking garage and apartment complex did not respond to requests for comment.
