A large fire broke out on the upper levels of a high-rise office building in Midtown Manhattan on Tuesday morning, March 17, prompting a large response from the New York City Fire Department.
The blaze broke out at 6 East 43rd Street, a 28-story building located a block from where the St Patrick’s Day Parade was scheduled to begin at 11 am.
This footage shows flames and smoke on the roof of the building and firefighters responding.

According to ABC7NY, the building is being renovated to convert offices into residential units, and the blaze broke out in an HVAC system on the roof.
