Citizen app footage shows a person waving an item out a window in an attempt to flag down first responders as a fire rips through an apartment building in Kingsbridge.
The video, taken near West 234th Street and Kingsbridge Avenue just after 3 p.m. Tuesday, shows orange flames shooting from the third floor of the five-story building as thick black smoke billows into the air above.
News 12 reached out to the FDNY and is awaiting additional information.
