NEW YORK (PIX11) — The morning commute on Wednesday may prove to be tricky for some New Yorkers, as multiple subway disruptions have been reported.

Commuters are encouraged to check the MTA app or website for service updates.

Trains on the No. 3 line are suspended in both directions between 96th Street and Harlem-148th Street in both directions due to an FDNY investigation near 135th Street.

No. 2 trains are running via the No. 5 line between 149th Street-Grand Concourse and Nevins Street in both directions.

Uptown E and F trains are being rerouted via Roosevelt Island from Manhattan to Queens due to a report of smoke near 7th Avenue.

Uptown E trains will run via the F line from West 4th Street-Washington Square to 47-50th Streets-Rockefeller Center, and then via Roosevelt Island to 36th Street.

Uptown F trains are rerouted via Roosevelt Island from 47-50th Streets-Rockefeller Center to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue.

Some uptown F trains are running via the G line from Bergen Street to Court Square.

As of 9:15 a.m., delays were reported on the Nos. 2, 3, and 5 trains, in addition to B, C, D, E, F, G, and R lines.
