A recent study by the American Cancer Society finds colorectal cancer to be the leading cause of cancer deaths in people under 50. The report estimates more than 55,000 people will die from the disease this year.
Dr. Aasma Shaukat, a gastroenterologist at NYU Langone, joined “The Rush Hour” on Tuesday to discuss what’s driving the increase, as well as the preventative steps that can be taken.
