New York Rangers Announce Inaugural Phish Night, Featuring Exclusive Poster Offer

On Friday, March 27, the New York Rangers will host “Phish Night,” when the Big Apple team faces off against the Chicago Blackhawks at Madison Square Garden. As an exclusive offer to mark this mingling of hockey and music, each purchased ticket will include a speciality poster that flaunts both entities on one sheet. In addition, a portion of each ticket sale will be donated to The WaterWheel Foundation

Notably, the New York Rangers’ latest announcement comes after the National Hockey League’s first-ever Phish Night, held on January 8, 2026, when the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Philadelphia Flyers in overtime. The marriage of sports and music has also resulted in other artist-tinged events, like the Nashville Predators’ Jerry Garcia Night, and jersey offer.

The latest offering highlights Phish’s deep ties to Madison Square Garden and the band’s staggering number of appearances there. This summer, the Vermont foursome will appear on the famous stage for a series of five performances, bringing their total number of MSG concerts to 96. Cleverly, this move will tee them up for their annual New Year’s Eve shenanigans, four nights of shows to take them to 100.

Each purchased ticket includes one poster. Pickup details will be communicated the day before to the game.
