Cali Fletcher reached her goal of the Miss Strawberry Queen crown as she was named the Miss Strawberry Queen on March 7 at Jemison High School at the 2026 Miss Strawberry Queen Pageant.
Fletcher, who is the youngest Miss Strawberry Queen ever at only 16 years old, was able to capture the crown after being named first alternate on the Junior Miss Strawberry Queen court in last year’s pageant.
Along with Fletcher, Adalynn Gray was crowned the Junior Miss Strawberry Queen, Emma Boyd the Young Miss Strawberry Queen and Raina Fulgham the Little Miss Strawberry Queen. Four photogenic award winners were handed out as well.
Fletcher and the other 2026 Chilton County Strawberry Queens are preparing for the fifth annual Chilton County Strawberry Festival in Thorsby at Richard Wood Park on April 18 where they will be on hand promoting and celebrating one of the most abundant fruits in the county.
The 2026 Chilton County Strawberry Festival will be from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. and feature food trucks, arts and crafts, vendors, live entertainment, a petting zoo, kid’s activities and more.
