The Dairy Barn transformations continue: Long Island’s latest big, red drive-thru coffee and dessert spot, The Barn, opens Friday in Center Moriches. With it comes a spring menu of specialty drinks that will be available at all stores.
Featuring For Five Coffee, The Barn sells coffee beverages, lattes and iced coffees ($6.99 for 24 ounces), as well as iced teas, lemonades and hot chocolates. But it’s the hot and iced specialty drinks that generate buzz.
New flavors of protein-packed drinks include a peanut butter banana protein latte (from $7.99), as well as a vanilla ube cold foam latte ($7.99), and a strawberry caramel cloud latte with caramel drizzle and strawberry foam that’s topped with a cake pop ($17.99). This season’s “bucket” oversized concoction is a turbo-sized Key lime vanilla latte with white mocha drizzle and vanilla cold foam topped with graham crackers and Key lime pie ($18.99).
Dirty soda debuts include a blueberry citrus soda with blueberry lemon-flavored Sprite with Swedish fish “swimming” in a fishbowl cup ($8.99) and pineapple peach cream-flavored Sprite in a Mason jar topped with peach rings ($12.99). More elaborate: a lavender lemon cake pop dirty soda ($17.99). Put any drink in a Peeps marshmallow candy-themed cup for $9.99.
Along with her father and sister, owner Irena Angeliades purchased 49 Dairy Barn stores on Long Island 15 years ago and has been revamping the drive-thrus one by one. The first Barn opened in 2025 in Huntington, followed by East Northport, Patchogue and Ronkonkoma, all generating long lines at peak coffee-drinking hours, thanks to coffee-loving TikTok and Instagram patrons posting shots of gussied-up lattes and dessert-topped iced coffees.
Next up for relaunch: Massapequa and Seaford.
