CHARLOTTE, N.C. – UNC Asheville Men’s Tennis won its seventh straight match on Friday (Mar. 20), defeating Queens (N.C.) 6-1 on the road. Seven in a row matches the longest win streak for the program since the 2024 Big South Conference Championship season.
 
Asheville won two out of three doubles matches to take the doubles point, before posting five wins in singles play to secure the win.
 
Jip Mens and Cian Ingles began doubles play with a 6-1 win over Scala and Cooley at No. 2, before Griffin Lovern and Harrison Cooper clinched the doubles point with a 6-4 win over Villen and Morris at No. 1. Defending Big South Conference Freshman of the Week Daniel Franco-Key started singles play with a 6-3, 1-6, 5-0 win by retirement over Jimenez at No. 3, before Trevor Gray earned a 6-4, 6-3 win over Huitt at No. 5. Martin Fuks would clinch the match with a 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) win over Ryan at No. 6, before Mens posted a 7-6 (7-4) win over Villen at No. 1. Cooper would finish off the match with a 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 win over Scala at No. 4.
