The New York Giants have focused on strengthening their offensive line in 2026.
The team re-signed right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor as well as left guard Aaron Stinnie during free agency. New York also has former Second-Team All-Pro Andrew Thomas entrenched at left tackle.
The Giants’ struggling offensive line from 2023 has shown a significant improvement over the past two seasons. Nevertheless, further enhancements to the unit are expected in the 2026 NFL Draft.
In the latest mock draft from NBC Sports’ Kyle Dvorchak, the Giants are projected to select Miami right tackle Francis Mauigoa with the No. 5 overall pick.
Mauigoa is a career right tackle, which would be an issue for most teams picking in the top five. The Giants already have Andrew Thomas written in stone for the left end of their line, but protecting Jaxson Dart still has to be a priority. This pick could just as easily have been Jeremyiah Love, but the reports on Cam Skattebo’s health indicate the Giants don’t need to address running back.

Mauigoa allowed only 2.0 sacks in 2025. The 20-year-old also surrendered just 10 total pressures last season for Miami.
Mauigoa has expressed openness to switching from right tackle to another position along the offensive line in the NFL, making him a versatile prospect who has been connected to the Giants leading up to the draft.
