NEW YORK (PIX11) – The dry, pleasant weather we had Saturday is ending, according to the National Weather Service.
By Sunday morning, rain is forecasted, with highs reaching 60 degrees. A few showers are also expected early in the afternoon.

Although there will be some rain showers, the main event will be thunderstorms starting after 5 p.m., affecting the entire New York City metro area, according to the seven-day forecast.
The Big Apple is projected to receive just under an inch of rain, according to officials.
By Monday evening, the city should be clear and chilly, with lows in the 30s and mild northwest winds up to 16 mph. Starting Tuesday morning, clear, sunny skies are expected with a high of 47 degrees, according to the NWS.
