The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred at the northeast corner of East 188th Street and the Grand Concourse in the Fordham Heights section of The Bronx on Friday, March 13, 2026.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying the person seen in the attached photo who they say is wanted in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred in the Fordham Heights section of The Bronx.
Police said that on Friday, March 13, at around 4.15 p.m. at the northeast corner of East 188th Street and Grand Concourse, a 42-year-old male victim was approached by the suspect while inside an MTA bus. They said the suspect punched the victim in the face and stole his earrings and chain from around his neck. “The individual then fled the location on foot, traveling eastbound on East 188 Street to parts unknown,” a police spokesperson said. “The victim sustained minor facial injuries but was not hospitalized.”

They said the suspect is described as male, has a medium complexion, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, a black winter hat, and black sneakers.
