Ramen Chef Hiroshi Hiraoka from Sapporo’s Japanese Ramen Noodle Lab Q will be in NYC for two special pop ups the weekends of March 21-22, and March 28-29 at Towa, and then March 30-April 3 at nonono, brining his award winning signature clear tanrei-style ramen!

Sandwell

Sandwell, the healthy ish sandwich shop on the UWS and Gramercy is launching tuna melts! Everything including this tuna is made in house, and this tuna salad mixes skipjack tuna, celery hearts, caramelized onions, pickles, capers, parsley, dill, celery seeds, caraway seeds, tamari, lemon juice, olive oil, and vegan mayo! That goes on toasted bread with slices of cheddar!

Lobel’s Original

Lobel’s Original, the sandwich shop in Rockefeller Center from Lobel’s Prime Meats have to new collab sandwiches that will be served over the next month. Now through March 27 they are serving a collab sandwich from Chef JJ and Fieldtrip, Ju’s Got the Beef, which is a prime beef sandwich with pickled veggies, and a vidalia onion jam. And from March 30-April 13, you can get a collab sandwich from Greg Baxtrom and 5 Acres, The Chicago Italian Combo, which has prime beef, roasted peppers, and giardiniera peppers.

Seventy Seven Alley

Seventy Seven Alley is a new restaurant in Tribeca from Chef London Chase that will have a rotating menu, with a focus on drawing inspiration from Tribeca’s gallery culture, with “art on the walls and on the plates.” The menu will be broken down into heat, acid, salty, depth, and fat with dishes like chopped cheese, grilled lamb ribs, and a pork belly yakitori.
