Effy’s is expanding again in Manhattan, with a new location currently preparing to open on the Upper West Side. Signage is now up at 552 Columbus Avenue, between West 86th and 87th Streets, confirming the brand’s continued growth in the neighborhood.

A Grab-and-Go Patisserie Concept

This new location will operate as a grab-and-go kosher pastry and coffee spot, with a strong emphasis on baked goods and quick service.

The storefront is branded “Effy’s Café & Patisserie,” reflecting a concept centered around pastries, coffee, and lighter café fare rather than a full sit-down menu.

What This Means for the Upper West Side

Effy’s already has an established presence on the Upper West Side, and this new location adds a more convenient option for those looking for quick coffee, pastries, or takeout-style items. The concept aligns with the high foot traffic along Columbus Avenue, especially near the 86th Street corridor.

This location is designed to complement the more traditional dine-in experience offered at other Effy’s locations.

Opening Timeline

An exact opening date has not been officially confirmed. However, based on current activity, the location is expected to open very soon.
