Just like in fashion, Blake Lively‘s home style is on point.
While she’s a born-and-raised California girl, Lively has lived in New York City since starring on Gossip Girl. After she and fellow actor Ryan Reynolds tied the knot on Sept. 9, 2012, they continued to live in New York, curating and creating gorgeous abodes for their family.
The A-list couple’s primary residence is a serene and cozy apartment in N.Y.C.’s Tribeca neighborhood. (They also have a house in the suburb of Pound Ridge, N.Y., per Realtor.com.) While they prefer to keep their personal lives private, especially for the sake of their four children — daughters James, Inez and Betty and son Olin — over the years, the pair have shared glimpses of their homes on social media.
In December 2023, the Another Simple Favor actress credited her secret design skills for her and her husband’s stunning urban loft, joking on Instagram, “and yes I low key moonlight as an interior designer but please don’t tell bc I definitely don’t want the world to know that I have a hidden talent which I require external validation on.”

In December 2023, Lively shared a series of photos on Instagram, wearing a neon pink outfit and posing in what appeared to be the apartment’s entryway.
She deemed the look “loud luxury,” and it certainly did contrast with the home’s rustic wooden floors and painted brick-and-wood-clad walls. A statement painting and gold push-button light switch added a unique custom touch to the space.

The Hallway

Before heading out to an event for Tiffany & Co in May 2023, the Age of Adaline star shared a peek at her luxurious-looking hallway on Instagram.
The blue-gray walls appeared to be upholstered in a velvet fabric that also covered a door, creating a nearly hidden effect known as a blind door. A colorful woven rug and gold-framed paintings complemented the hue and added warmth.

In the main living area, yellow-toned banquette seating peeked out from behind a sturdy exposed wood column in the center of the room. The same exposed brick wall seen in the entryway amplified the industrial vibes, while the statement chandelier gave the room a glam feel. Homey elements were added via framed photographs surrounding arched black-framed windows.
Lively had to use her phone’s self-timer to capture this moment in May 2022, as she had forgotten to take a picture of her outfit before the event.
“Yes I took these on a self timer bc everyone was asleep when I got home at 9. Sorry outfit. You deserved better,” she wrote on Instagram.

While plugging her non-alcoholic sparkling mixers, Betty Buzz, in October 2021, Lively revealed a closer look at the squash-hued banquette seen in the last photo.
In a photo shared on Instagram, she gave two thumbs up while sitting at a wooden dining table.

Fans got a glimpse of the dark wooden cabinetry and the pair’s coffee station setup, which included a stylish espresso machine. In the Instagram caption, the actress revealed that at the time of the photo, she had officially been living in New York for 14 years.

For his wife’s birthday in August 2023, Reynolds shared a touching tribute on Instagram that included photos of the couple throughout their relationship.
In one selfie of the pair, the actor’s followers got a close-up look at the same space from Lively’s Yankees photo, including an abstract artwork hanging in the kitchen, which appeared to be made out of puzzle pieces.

From its gray-toned wooden floor to the black-framed windows, the couple’s master bedroom tied the rustic and industrial vibes together beautifully. Soft touches were added to the space through the upholstered bed, beige wall color and a gold sconce.
While showing off her dazzling gold Michael Kors look, Lively revealed she had designed the space herself. The photo also offered a glimpse of the primary bathroom, equipped with a marble free-standing bathtub.
