NEW YORK (PIX11) — New York City council members are taking a deep dive into Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s preliminary budget.

Many New Yorkers may not follow day to day or know exactly what goes into it.

New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams is rolling out a new way for everyday residents to understand the budget and weigh in on how that money should be spent.
