Jay-Z added a third show to his Yankee Stadium homestand celebrating the anniversaries of his hit albums “Reasonable Doubt” and “The Blueprint.”
The Brooklyn native’s Roc Nation company announced a July 12 “Extra Innings” performance on Tuesday.
“JAŸ-Z announces additional 7/12 show at @yankeestadium after 7/10 and 7/11 shows sell out,” Roc Nation posted online.
The first two shows were announced Wednesday. The opening night performance is billed as “JAŸ-Z 30.” The second one is called “JAŸ-Z 25.”
Jay-Z’s debut album, “Reasonable Doubt,” is turning 30 years old. “The Blueprint,” which features Eminem, is 25 years old. The umlaut that appears above the “Y” in his name once more is a shout-out to his debut album featuring that same diacritical distinction.
It’s not known who might join Jay-Z onstage for any of the three concerts. The Yankees are in Washington, D.C. to play the Nationals during those dates, which precede Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game in Philadelphia.

Fans who can’t make it to Yankee Stadium in July can see Jay-Z, born Shawn Carter, when he headlines the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on May 30.
He last performed live with his wife Beyoncé on her “Cowboy Carter” tour, which concluded in July, according to USA Today.
Jay-Z admitted in a GQ interview published Tuesday that a lawsuit against him at the start of 2025 left him feeling drained and upset. An anonymous woman alleged she was sexually assaulted by him and imprisoned rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2000, when she was 13 years old.
“That whole [lawsuit thing], that s–t took a lot out of me,” the 56-year-old music mogul confessed. “I was angry. I haven’t been that angry in a long time, uncontrollable anger.”
