BROOKLYN, NY — A brazen attacker sexually assaulted and robbed a woman inside a Brooklyn store early Sunday — and now cops are hunting the suspect caught on surveillance video.

On Tuesday evening, the NYPD shared security footage capturing a man assaulting and robbing a 50-year-old woman in a Bedford-Stuyvesant store near Myrtle and Lewis avenues around 12:50 a.m. Sunday.

Inside the store, the man approached the woman, struck up a conversation and made unwanted sexual advances, police said.

When she rejected him, a struggle broke out; he sexually assaulted her and fled on foot with her jewelry, credit cards, about $300 cash, and cellphone, heading to an unknown destination.

The victim was taken by private means to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens hospital, where she was in stable condition.

The NYPD has released surveillance photos of the suspect.

He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt over a white t-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers, according to police.
