MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A man was behind bars in the Riley County Jail on Wednesday following his arrest the day before in connection with stalking, violating a protection order, criminal trespass and other offenses in Manhattan, officials said.
The incident leading to the arrest was reported around 10:36 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of Griffith Drive, on the northeast side of Manhattan.
Riley Councy police officers said victims in the case included a 34-year-old woman, a 56-year-old woman, a 24-year-old man and a 60-year-old man.
A 33-year-old Junction City man was behind bars in the Riley County Jail on Wednesday following his arrest in connection with stalking, violating a protection order, criminal trespass and other offenses in Manhattan, officials said.(KWCH)
A known man was listed as the suspect.
Riley County police arrested the man, identified as Austin Cody Edge, 33, of Junction City, at 10:48 a.m. Tuesday in connection with two counts of violating a protection order; two counts of stalking; and one count each of criminal trespass, interference with a law enforcement officer, assault of a law enforcement officer and attempted battery of a law enforcement officer.
Edge was issued no bond and remained Wednesday morning in the Riley County Jail, officials said.
