The narrow storefront at 480 10th Avenue just south of W37th Street has carried more than its share of Hell’s Kitchen history. For four decades, it was Enoch’s Bike Shop — a place where neighbors fixed flats, swapped stories and kept moving. In 2024, owner Enoch Hooper closed the shop for good. Within months, his son Cary reopened the space as Enoch’s, a café and arts hub that kept the spirit of the place intact.

Now that story is heading to television. A 29-minute documentary titled LifeCycle, directed by filmmaker Andre Degas, has been picked up by WNET and a New Jersey PBS affiliate — but needs final post-production before it can air.
