The NYPD released photos and video on Wednesday of two masked men wanted for gunning down an MTA bus driver at a popular Queens burger bar — including one suspect pictured wearing a sweatshirt emblazoned with the word “LOVE.”
The video recorded inside Hangar 11, where Demitri McKay Jr., 29, was shot in the heart around 1:35 a.m. Tuesday, shows the suspects walking past the bar at the seemingly deserted restaurant.

The suspects, one wearing a pink hoodie and sweatpants, and the other wearing the blue “LOVE” sweatshirt, were last seen fleeing the restaurant on foot. No arrests have been made.
The bullet that struck McKay passed through his arm, pierced his torso and struck his heart inside the Key Gardens burger joint, on Metropolitan Ave. near Lefferts Blvd., police sources said.
His heartbroken father, Demitri McKay Sr., posted on Facebook that his son was at the “wrong place, wrong time” and killed for “no reason.”

“My heart is broken into a million pieces,” his father wrote. “[He was] a great man who loved the Lord with all his heart.”
The victim, who lived in Queens Village, joined the MTA in 2024, according to public payroll records. He had no criminal history, cops say.
“Ordinarily he stays home because he was a homebody,” his grieving dad posted. “[Last] night he decided to go out with his girlfriend.”
“Total tragedy struck him and my family,” he added. “I’m so broken. [God] please strengthen my family and I because this one really hurts.”
Medics rushed McKay Jr. to Jamaica Hospital, where he died a short time later.
