Separately, the sale proceeds will go toward the MTA’s capital budget. At the same time, a proposal can receive a higher density allowance. It must include transit accessibility improvements.

Separately, the site at 1119 Pacific St. is in Brooklyn. It previously housed an MTA New York City Transit cable shop. In addition, the MTA agreed with the city to move that shop during rezoning. Also, the new facility is at 2016 Pitkin Ave., also in Brooklyn.

Meanwhile, MTA officials said the site is being transferred to the city for development. For example, it also includes air rights around NYCT’s adjacent Franklin Avenue Shuttle location.
